2017 Annual Meeting

On behalf of the Utilities State Government Organization (USGO), it is my pleasure to provide you with the opportunity to either join or renew your membership in USGO for 2017 and attend the 2017 Annual Meeting. Attached is a draft agenda.

The 2017 USGO Annual Meeting will be held July 9-12 at The Hotel Hershey in Hershey, Pa. Hershey is just 90 minutes from Baltimore and Philadelphia, two hours from Washington, D.C. and three hours from New York City. Known for its refined elegance, signature service, and abundant amenities, The Hotel Hershey is a one-of-a-kind destination and one of the finest Historic Hotels of America.

The Hotel Hershey has 276 guest rooms, including 48 cottages. The 1930s hotel is a recipient of both the Forbes Four-Star Award and the AAA Four-Diamond Award.

The Hotel Hershey offers a beautiful collection of indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a luxurious spa, kids’ club and youth activities, fitness center and classes, three distinctive golf courses, Segway tours, tennis, basketball, shuffleboard and croquet.

Hotel Hershey is located about 30 minutes from the Harrisburg International Airport. Transportation arrangements from the Harrisburg International Airport to the hotel may be made through the hotel concierge by calling the main hotel number 717-533-2171 and asking for the concierge -- cost is $25 per person (adults and children) each way. Taxi service is available at the airport – cost is about $25 total each way.
